Early Recognition. Thoughtful Preparation. Coordinated Response.

On July 22, Swidget had the privilege of attending the Imron Security & Safety Summit at the iconic MetLife Stadium. The event brought together over 400 thought leaders and security professionals with a shared goal: to build safer environments for schools, workplaces, and communities.

We were proud to showcase Luminance, our new emergency activation and response system, and were thrilled by the positive feedback from attendees across sectors. From school administrators to law enforcement officers and security professionals, the conversations we had at the summit reinforced the importance of innovation in crisis response technology.

A standout moment for us came during the Active Shooter Mitigation panel, where Katherine Schweit, creator of the FBI’s Active Shooter Program, gave Swidget a shoutout while discussing effective response strategies.

Throughout the summit, a recurring theme emerged: effective mitigation relies on early recognition, thoughtful preparation, and coordinated response. Whether it was Chris Grollnek’s powerful analogy on shifting perspectives or the panel’s insights into proactive threat detection, it’s clear that reactive systems alone are no longer enough.

We left the event energized and more committed than ever to supporting our partners with smart, easy-to-deploy safety solutions that adapt to evolving threats and empower response before, during, and after an incident.

“It was incredibly inspiring to be surrounded by so many people committed to making our communities safer,” said Ashna Lee. “I am really proud to be part of a company like Swidget that is building intelligent tools that help protect the people and places that matter most.”
