Use Case: Storage Unit

Problem

While there doesn’t seem to be an official standard for climate control in the storage industry, it is recommended that a climate-controlled storage unit should keep temperature levels between 55° and 78° F and humidity levels no higher than 55%.

Solution

Keep an eye on your valuables by making sure that the temperature and humidity in your storage unit remains within the recommended values. Create an automation to notify you when the conditions are outside of this range. Throw in a Motion Sensor to add extra security and make sure that no one accesses your unit that is not supposed to.

Products Needed

15A Outlet, 20A Outlet or Switch.

Temperature/Humidity or Temperature/Humidity/Motion Insert.

Swidget App.
